23rd Capri Workshop on Therapeutic Targets in Cancer Cell Metabolism & Death
Molecular and cellular biologists have been asking themselves for decades on what a cancer cell is different from a normal non-transformed cell. One of the first observations made by Warburg in the 20s is that cancer cells have an altered cellular metabolism. This Workshop is unique in its purpose to bring together internationally recognized - leading scientists approaching tumorigenesis from different research fields, all supporting the belief that metabolic changes are a key point in cellular transformation
Organisers: Ingram Iaccarino, Gerry Melino and Tak Mak
